PSProp Sim

Simulated futures prop firm · no money, real rules

Pass the evaluation before you pay for one.

Prop Sim runs 23 account presets across 6 programs modelled on Topstep and Lucid Trading. Trade ES, NQ, YM, RTY, CL and GC, and their micros, under the same drawdown, consistency and payout rules, on real market data.

01

Pick a program

Evaluations modelled on Topstep and Lucid Trading, from 25K to 150K, each with that firm's published drawdown, daily loss, consistency and contract rules.

02

Trade it

Market, limit, stop and bracket orders against the real futures tape (delayed ~10 minutes), or log trades you took elsewhere and have them checked against the tape.

03

Get funded

Hit the target under the rules and the evaluation passes at the close. A funded account opens; build a cushion and request payouts the way the firm's payout rules allow.

As close to the real thing as free data allows

Real-time rule enforcement

Equity is checked against the max-loss floor at every bar's worst price. Touch it, even for a minute, and the account is liquidated, exactly like the real thing.

End-of-day vs intraday trailing

Each program uses its firm's drawdown model: EOD trailing, intraday trailing on open profit, or static, with lock-at-start or buffer locks.

Consistency and payout rules

Best-day consistency that raises your target, winning-day counts, buffers, caps and profit splits, computed by the open-source propfirm-calc engine.

Fills that don't flatter you

One tick of slippage on market and stop orders, gaps fill at the open, and a stop and target touched in the same minute resolve against you.

Session rules

Positions are flattened at the program's cutoff, daily loss limits lock the session, and contract caps are enforced in mini-equivalents.

Works while you're away

Brackets fire when price gets there, whether or not your tab is open. Every account is a deterministic replay of its orders against the tape.

What it can't do: quotes come from Yahoo Finance about 10 minutes late, fills are simulated from 1-minute bars, and there is no order book or queue position. Everything on the site runs on that same delayed clock, so the trading stays consistent with itself.
